Large Group or Building Attendance
ScholarChip's mobile attendance kiosk processes large groups of students quickly - just tap and go - to capture attendance for 45 to 50 students per minute.
An attendant oversees the students as they tap in. A touch screen mounted away from the students displays the student's photo and flashes an alert for anyone suspended or not allowed on campus. When the student taps in, notifications can be triggered to flash on the student side for appointments with the school nurse or counselor - it can even be set to sing a happy birthday message. Whatever perimeters the school chooses is possible with ScholarChip's attendance kiosk for large group attendance. The mobile kiosk goes wherever it is needed. Use it for special event attendance or cafeteria attendance and for any gathering of students where it is important to know who checked in and when or to restrict access. |

How Does ScholarChip Mobile Attendance Kiosk Work?
Each student is issued a ScholarChip smart ID card, which is encoded with a unique ID number which is uniquely linked to one person. The encrypted number carried on the card triggers the ScholarChip secure cloud to connect to the school or district's Student Information System and the student's associated class schedule and attendance information.
Considered an "active" tap, ScholarChip smart ID cards (chipped cards) require a student to tap on a card reader for data to be collected. It becomes the responsibility of the student to actively tap in and trigger their attendance being recorded. In effect, making the students responsible for their own attendance leads to greater accountability and increased campus safety.
